“Fattoria Le Fonti” operates far from the logic of intensive production, recovering ancient cyclical and natural gestures that increase the innate vigor of plants, in harmony with the unmistakable peculiarities of a territory.
The Imberti family is originally from the province of Bergamo and for five generations has been dedicated to importing and processing precious woods. It was a true love that was born more than 50 years ago between Vito Arturo Imberti and these Chianti Classico hills, a love crowned by the purchase of “Fattoria Le Fonti”.
A Sangiovese with great balance and perfume, perfect for pairing with red meat and chicken.
Wine with notes of red fruit tending towards ripeness, pleasant on the palate, good acidity, easy to drink.
A wine produced with grapes from 3 vineyards Greppo, Pagliaia and Salcio which together create a balanced and elegant blend.
Produced on the slopes of the volcano, on the Sicilian estate of the Imberti family, Etna Rosso A Picca (“little by little” in the island’s dialect) is made from Nerello Mascalese grapes.
A Super Tuscan, pure Sangiovese with a modern, generous and satisfying style that reflects the unique character of the vineyard of origin.
A balanced wine with a ruby red color, fruity on the nose but fresh, with balanced tannins and pleasant on the palate.
The rigor we use in the vineyard continues in the cellar, where we try to respect the grapes from the individual vineyards as much as possible with gentle or no crushing, delicate pumping over and light extractions, favoring the integrity of the fruit and the expression of the individual plots. After fermentation, the ageing process continues in stainless steel, cement or French oak barrels with medium or light roasting, depending on the final destination and our oenological objectives.
