“The Paradiso winery is known for producing high-quality local wines, blending tradition with a forward-looking approach”.
For three generations, the Paradiso family has been growing grapes in Apulia, a region with a long history of wine production. In 1954, Angelo, the grandfather, started a winery with his four sons. Despite the challenges of post-war Italy, they worked hard to build their dream winery.
Over the years, Angelo’s sons expanded the winery, acquired more land, and turned it into a successful business. Today, in its third generation, the Paradiso winery is known for producing high-quality local wines, blending tradition with a forward-looking approach.

The grapevine has thrived here since ancient times. Legend has it that Diomedes, a Greek hero, brought vine shoots from Asia Minor to Daunia, resulting in Nero di Troia, a prized local grape. By 1800, Cerignola was a major exporter of Nero di Troia to France, dominating the wine market.
Today, vast grapevine fields in Daunia use the Apulian pergola vine training system, protecting vines from the sun. Main grape varieties for bottling include local types like Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, and Primitivo.
